Welcome to the Stittsville Minor Hockey Association.

Please note that priority will be given to players who were registered for the 1st half of this season.  New registrations for the 2nd half of the year are not guaranteed a spot.  Once groups are reformed, any open spots will be filled on a first come first served basis.

REGISTRATION FOR THE SECOND HALF OF THE SEASON IS NOW CLOSED.  

Hockey programming for the 2nd half of the season will be the same as the 1st half.  Hockey will run for 12 weeks from Jan. 2nd/21 until Mar 31/21.  U7 to U15 Players will have up to 2 ice times per week for a total of up to 24 touches.  U18 will continue with 1 ice time per week for up to 12 touches.  Ice times will consist of practices and scrimmages. 

Those players in OVT or OVSS groups DO NOT have to re-register with SMHA for the 2nd half of the season.

Should the Province and/or Ottawa Public Health (OPH) place us into restrictive mode, each group will drop to one ice time per week (there will be no credit for the reduction in ice time).  SMHA will do everything it can to keep kids on the ice in whatever format public health rules allow.

Groups will be reformed based on the first half groups with as little change as possible.  You can expect to be placed back into your group with the same coach with new registrations filling any gaps if they exist.

SMHA reserves the right to cap each level and registration will be on a first come first served basis.
