After a season of hard work where new skils were learned and new friendships were made, it all came together for the Stittsville Novice B1 Scorpions as they captured the LCMHL Playoff Championship.
The prelionary round was where the coaching staff began to see the fruits of their labor asthe Scorpions cruised through undefeated, winning 3 ganes with a combind score of 13-0.
The Finals were a hard-fought, competitive battle between 2 evenly matched team, with the Scorpions winning by scores of 3-1 and 2-1 to clinch the title, touching off a jubilant celebration amongst this terrific group of 7 and 8 year olds.
The Coaching staff are very proud of the boys as it was a true team effort, combining balanced offense and stifling defense with solid goaltending.
