Minor Peewee Rams Champions In North York

The Stittsville Minor Peewee Rams were in for a tough weekend but would emerge victorious in the second overtime frame to take home the North York Knights Challenge 2015 championship title. The tournament ran January 30, 31 and Feb 1 2015.

The team ended the contest with an overall 4-1 record with scores of 10-2, 5-3, 1-2, 2-1, 3-2(OT). Opposing teams were Downsview, North York, Leaside and Ted Reeve. After being defeated by Leaside in the round robin by a goal, the Rams would face them again in the final with hopes to even the score. The score in fact, was even at 2 midway through the second overtime, when a speedy RAMS forward broke through two defenders and placed the final shot of the tournament over the opposing goalie's shoulder.
