SMHA Requires a new Referee-in Chief

The RIC will report to the Vice-President, Operations of Stittsville Minor Hockey Association and is part of the Management Council of the Association. 

The RIC will be responsible for the administration and operation of the Association's referee/linesman program.  The RIC will authorize and supervise all official referee/linesman activities connected with the referee/linesman program, and league hockey played within the boundaries of the Association.

The RIC will recruit, train and supervise all official referee/linesman activities connected with the Association's referee/linesman program, and Association/league hockey played within the boundaries of the Association.

The RIC will provide Association referees/linesmen with direction and guidance necessary for their proper participation in regular, season, play-off, exhibition, and tournament hockey authorized by the Association and played within the boundaries of the Association.
