Novice Convenor wanted

The Novice convenor oversees the operations of the SMHA Novice hockey program.  The position earns you a seat on the SMHA Management Council which means that you'd be a member of the SMHA management team.

Duties include:

• Coordination of conditioning sessions (September)
• Coordination/management of player evaluations (September)
• Participation in the player draft process (September)
• Ongoing scheduling of team practices
• Ongoing dissemination of information to teams
• Team support in terns of researching/answering inquiries
• Attending and  providing a voice at monthly SMHA management council meetings.

It is not uncommon for persons new to the role to co-convene in order to share the workload and responsibilities.
